How to order your Booklist

If you haven’t made an order with Lilydale Books before, check our step-by-step guides to help you through the process.

Step-by-step written instructions

STEP 1: SELECT YOUR SCHOOL

To find your school’s booklist, click the “Booklists” tab along the menu. Select your school’s logo from the list of schools.

You can place your order online or print a PDF copy of your booklist. 

Do you have a Lilydale Books account?

Creating an account is not mandatory; you can place your order as a guest. However, by creating an account, you have the option of saving your order and viewing your order history. If you do not have an account, you will be prompted to create one. Watch our video on how to create an account here.

STEP 2: ENTER STUDENT’S DETAILS 
Fields required are Year Level, Student First and Last Name and Student email address. If you don’t know your student’s school email address, your email address is sufficient. Students that attend the same school can be placed in the same order.

STEP 3: SELECT PREFERRED METHOD OF COLLECTION 
The three collection methods are:

  • Home Delivery (recommended). Orders for Home Delivery are sent within 5-15 business days. You will receive an email and SMS when your order is sent, along with tracking details.
  • Store Collection. Orders can be placed online for pre-packaged Store Collection. You will receive an email and SMS advising when your order is ready. Most orders are ready between 2-5 business days.
  • School Collection. Booklists will be delivered to your school on the specified date. Note: This option will not appear if your school has not opted for a school delivery.

STEP 4: CONFIRM YOUR SUBJECTS 
Tick the boxes for the subjects that apply to your student/s. Scroll down the list and tick the items you wish to purchase. Ensure you follow any specific prompts for chosen subjects.

Note: Some items are compulsory e.g. Fees, they will already be ticked and cannot be changed. These fees are items that the school has requested Lilydale Books collect on their behalf. These items will be supplied by school at the start of Term 1, not by Lilydale Books.

STEP 5: STUDENT OVERVIEW 
This is an overview of the items ordered for your student. If you are logged into an account, you can save your order and come back to it later if necessary. If you have multiple students you will be prompted to repeat the process.

STEP 6: ORDER OVERVIEW 
This is the overview of the entire order and will show your total including any additional charges such as shipping.

STEP 7: CUSTOMER DETAILS 
If you are the parent/guardian placing the order, this is where you will enter your details for billing and shipping. If your shipping address is different, tick the box to enter in the address.

STEP 8: PAYMENT 
Select your payment method. Tick the box to acknowledge you have read and agree to the Terms and Conditions and opt in to receive exclusive updates. Please do not proceed to pay until you are ready to complete your order because you will be unable to go back until payment has been completed.

You will receive a confirmation email from Lilydale Books with all your order details. Depending on your chosen collection method, you will receive a notification via SMS and email when your order has been fulfilled.

If your order is being shipped, you will also receive separate tracking information once it has been dispatched.

Your booklist can be found in the "For Parents" section of the website.

The following options are available:

Home Delivery
Click & Collect
School Collection (only available to select schools) 

We accept payments using a Mastercard or Visa through our secure payment gateway.

We do not store any credit card details. Our website uses a secure standard industry payment system with SSL security encryption certification.

We process orders every business day and most orders are sent as soon as we receive them. If your items are in stock, they will generally leave our warehouse within the following timeframes:

February to October: Allow up to 1 – 5 business days

November to January: Allow up to 10-15 business days*

*If your order contains an item that has a future due date, your order may not be shipped until it is in stock. This will not apply for VCE students, whose orders are shipped as priority.

If you have a Lilydale Books account, you can check the status of your order in your account. 

You will also receive notifications when your order is ready for collection or has been dispatched. Tracking information is provided for all home delivery orders via SMS and email. Tracking information is also available in your Lilydale Books account.

Once you are notified that your order is ready, collect your order from the Priority Queue:

Lilydale Books at Unit 1, 25-27 Hightech Place Lilydale 3140.

You have 5 days to collect your order once all items are ready to collect.

If your items are in stock, they will generally be ready for collection within the following timeframes:

February to October: Allow up to 1 – 2 business days

November to January: Allow up to 2 - 5 business days

Do not come into the store until you have received the notification. If you have multiple orders you will receive multiple notifications.

Yes, when you have received your notification that your order is ready, come in store and head straight to the Priority Queue to collect your order.

If you cannot make the school collection date you can send someone on your behalf to collect your order. If this is not possible, your order will be returned to Lilydale Books and can be collected from the store (unless otherwise stated on your booklist).

All eBooks, including eBooks within textbooks, are accessed through Educational Ebooks. We set up all accounts for students. You don’t need to do anything. Login details are sent to your school email address (or given to you by your school) before the start of Term 1.

To access your eBooks:

1. Go to Educational Ebooks (educationalebooks.com.au).
2. Login with your school credentials.
3. All eBooks that have been purchased will be accessible in your account before school resumes.
 

For ease of access, we have set up Single Sign-On (SSO) for students which means no additional passwords or logins are required.

These can be purchased via your school’s booklist. You can select either delivery method as these do not incur a delivery charge.

When placing your order, please ensure you enter your student’s enrolled name and school email address.

Lilydale Books has been requested to collect subscriptions or fees on behalf of your school. These will be made available to your student by the school at the start of Term 1. Lilydale Books does not distribute these products.
